New Students

• Students entering Kindergarten next school year {even if they are currently enrolled in a child development program}
• Students who are moving from one community to a new community before school starts, plus can provide the necessary residency documentation by the start of school {this would include the 1st Class Funded PK students}.
• Students who do not live in Elmore County currently, and know they are moving can provide the necessary residency documentation by the start of school.

Returning Students

Students who attended an Elmore County Public K-12 School during the 22-23 school year and are not moving to a different community will not update their records this summer. Instead, the schools will have a form packet for each family to complete.

Virtual Students

1. Complete The EDGE Application.
2. Wait for notification of acceptance.
3. Once you have been notified of acceptance into The EDGE, you will then register on Gateway Registration.

Out-Of-District Information

1. Review and complete the Out-Of-District Enrollment Packet.
2. Wait for notification of acceptance.
3. Once you have been notified of acceptance of selected school, you will then register on Gateway Registration.

Hardship Request Information

1. Complete the Hardship Request Form.
2. Wait for notification of approval.
3. Once you have been notified of approval, you will then register on Gateway Registration.

Intra/Inter District Transfer Request

1. Complete the Intra/Inter District Transfer Request Form when requesting transfer for employees' children.
2. After the form is submitted and processed you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that the transfer has been approved.
