Elmore County Alternative Programs

Elmore County Alternative Programs is home to multiple programs for the students of our district. We provide punitive and therapeutic services for Elmore County students on three separate campuses.

Students who violate the Elmore County Student Code of Conduct may be assigned to one of our punitive programs with campuses located in both Millbrook and Wetumpka. ECAP, our punitive program, serves students from elementary through high school on a temporary basis lasting anywhere from a few days to an entire school year. For more information, please click one of the links below.

Our therapeutic program, known as iCare, is centrally located in Wetumpka adjacent to the campus of Wetumpka High School and serves students with identified behavioral, emotional, or mental health needs. Smaller classes, additional paraprofessionals, and targeted instruction work together to meet students’ academic needs. iCare has a full-time mental health counselor who works with our students, providing group and individual counseling on a regular basis. We also partner with outside agencies committed to meeting the needs of our students.

The administrative offices for Elmore County Alternative Programs is located on the iCare campus in Wetumpka.
