Preregistration for Elmore County's First Class Pre-K Program opens January 15, 2022! Parents/guardians may preregister their child(ren) by visiting this website https://prek.alaceed.alabama.gov
Random selection is March 30, 8:30 a.m., via Facebook Live.

Who should register as a new student for the upcoming school year?
Students entering Kindergarten next school year {even if they are currently enrolled in a child development program}
Or
Students moving to the new Redland Middle School and NOT currently attending Redland Elementary School, and can provide the necessary residency documentation by the start of school.
Or
Students who are moving from one community to a new community before school starts, plus can provide the necessary residency documentation by the start of school {this would include the 1st Class Funded PK students}.
Or
Students who do not live in Elmore County currently, and know they are moving can provide the necessary residency documentation by the start of school.
THE NEW STUDENT PORTAL WILL BE DOWN FOR UPGRADES BEGINNING MONDAY, JUNE 13 - MONDAY, June 20. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY IT COULD BE A COUPLE OF DAYS LONGER DUE TO THE END-OF-YEAR ROLLOVER. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL YOUR SCHOOL.

For Returning Students:
Students who attended an Elmore County Public K-12 School during the 21-22 school year and are not moving to a different community will not update their records this summer. Instead, the schools will have a form packet for each family to complete.
The EDGE Virtual School Application
You will not complete the Registration Gateway Process until the above Application has been completed, submitted, and reviewed.
This is a new stand-alone school. You will attend virtually and have teachers from the E.D.G.E. provide your support.
