Wetumpka Child Development Program

Where Children Develop Potential

The letters 'WCDP' are written in white on a blue brushstroke background.

The Wetumpka Child Development Program operates year-round, providing a continuous learning environment for young students. The PreK 3 and PreK 4 classes use the Frog Street curriculum along with daily ABCMouse computer activities. This program emphasizes hands-on learning experiences that help children explore foundational concepts such as colors, shapes, and numbers while also building basic computer skills.

Throughout the day, students engage in activities that support early literacy and math development, including recognizing letters, identifying beginning sounds, and developing number sense. They also participate in creative play, such as dramatic play, and a variety of other engaging activities designed to support their overall growth and development.
